Dear Patrons

I have spent all of my youth treading upon the oceans.  These oceans are more ancient than the mountains and the waves are overflowing with memories and the dreams of the time.  For me the oceans are emotions personified. They love you they hate you, they challenge you they beckon you. The waves defy all attempts to capture them and reject all shackles.  In the darkest of the nights, when the sky is full of stars and the sea is as calm as a plain mirror, I always got that wonderful sensation that I was floating in the space.

It is enormously barren region, where I have never ever felt lonely.  To me, the sea has always been like playful friend, whom I have known for a long time. It might sound crazy, but when I am thousands of miles away from the shores, I talk to the sea. I have never felt alone when I have been out there. The playful waves of the ocean stirred my heart and inspired my imagination. It is this imagination that has given birth to Anchorage Eco Lodge that you see today.

I believe that the best therapy for those who want to take a break from day to day stresses of urban life should come to Anchorage Eco Lodge, a place where they can feel the tranquility amidst the simple beauty of nature.  Here we firmly believe that nature brings solace.

Every one of us needs a little tonic of wildness. We can never have enough of nature because of our urbane life style of today. But at Anchorage Eco Lodge, we have tried our best to give you nature in its simplest form. Today our challenge is not so much to teach children about the natural world, but to find ways to nurture and sustain the instinctive connections they already carry.
